JpJeepCj7 Hi all, I remember a while back having jeep evo but I must have lost it because I cant seem to locate it now and it is no longer available from jeeps website either. I did a search of the forum sand didnt find it. Ii know I could just download the truck and track conversions for evo2, but I would really prefer to have the orignal jeep evo game. Anyone have it or know where to point me to get it. Thanks.

!~`1

Lukethedude A Jeep evo do you mean 4x4 evo 1? If not I never heard of a Jeep evo, O for evo1 I think you should e-mail or ask KC if he has one or two for sale Good Luck!

!~`1My favorite out of 4 of my grandfathers air planes.

BashawBrothers Yes, there was a Jeep Evolution! It's funny, because you never hear of it. Street Evolution. But that's about all we know, is that there was one.....

!~`1"When all else fails, look at the instruction manual." -G&B

Woody Here is a link to the Jeep 4x4 EVO2 Adventure

http://www.jeep.com/adventure/home.jsp

Some of the pics and info are there but most of the links are dead, including the one to sign up so you could dl the game.

!~`1You need only two tools. WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

~M.O.B~Warrior I have the cd that you could order while the game was running . But the iso would be huge so I don't know how I could get it to you .

!~`1http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/mob_warrior/

JpJeepCj7 There may just not be a way to get it then. http://www.jeep.com/adventure/home.jsp has some errors on it and it appears you cant dl it from that site without registering and I dont know how to receive a file if it is that large either. O well, thank you all for trying to help.

[RCG] Max Air I too have the disc but it never worked on my old pc.

Got it right here handy to try out on my new laptop.

Most if not all of the tracks are available in e2 but without the mission stuff.

!~`1What's crackin coconut?

~M.O.B~Warrior JpJeep , check your mail . I found a site called "sendthisfile" . I uploaded the iso there and it sends you a download link . I changed the subject after I started the upload so it will say Jeep Evo 2 or something like incoming file . You should see my name with it too and the file is 268 MB . Let me know if it works out .

!~`1http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/mob_warrior/

JpJeepCj7 That download worked Warrior, but i clicked the install and it dosnt do anything.

!~`1There is nothing like the seat of a Full-Sized Jeep.

~M.O.B~Warrior You will have to extract the contents of the iso to a temp folder (winRAR will work) . Then run the setup.exe . I removed the DX8 to save some space because I'm sure you have DX . I don't think that should effect the install .

!~`1http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/mob_warrior/

JpJeepCj7 yeah i extracted all the files and clicked on the install file it opens a menue and when i click "install jeep 4x4 evolution 2" it closes and does nothing

!~`1There is nothing like the seat of a Full-Sized Jeep.

~M.O.B~Warrior Don't click install.exe , use "setup.exe" . If that doesn't do it , I'll send the DX8 file . I tried both and got 2 different screens . I think that's the problem . Use "setup.exe"

While we're on this subject , they never released the unlock code for Baja Beach . Well check this out folks .

!~`1http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/mob_warrior/

JpJeepCj7 Well, the download must have gotten screwed up the first time, cuz I redowlnoaded the iso file and the game installed fine now. Thanks again Warrior!

!~`1There is nothing like the seat of a Full-Sized Jeep.

~M.O.B~Warrior No problem bud . Glad I could help .

I just got a custom track running in Jeep Evo2 also . It's just free roam (for now) but I may try to get some scripts running .

Got another running too .

[RCG] Max Air Thx for helping us out warrior!

Seeing those codes jogged my memory on this whole fiasco.

Anybody else remember that this demo was also a contest to win a jeep rubi which the whole contest ended up botched? No cheaters and cheaters banned from the contest.

"I could have been a contender" lol

Would have been nice if I could have won the rubi since I have been making jeep adventures since chopshop trails

!~`1What's crackin coconut?

~M.O.B~Warrior Oh yea , I remember . Madness . At least I got a few tracks and models out of the deal . Of course , I can make tracks and models so !!!??? lol . Although TRI and KC have mended the fences which is cool .

!~`1http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/mob_warrior/

Chachoze Hey Warrior, how did you manage to get those tracks working in the Jeep demo? Did you raname them to the tracks that came with the demo? Just curious becasue I think I've tried it before but did not have any success....

!~`1

KC A "better" way to open .iso files is with Dameon Tools.
An .iso file is a CD image.
Dameon Tools is a "virtual CD drive" that simply mounds an .iso as another CD rom.

!~`1It's all how you look at things ©¿©¬

~M.O.B~Warrior Yea Chachoze , I named them all SILVTN.POD (Silverton's name) . I started off cloning SKULL1.SIT and naming the new track SILVTN.SIT . You will then need a SILVTN1_M.tif (512 x 512 Contour map , needs the 1 in it too) . All the nav maps are in 1 pod , so I have been rebuilding it too . They are just like the real Evo2 maps .

I think I'm going to rebuild all the stock tracks and add the maps right in the track pod so I can just add the custom maps to the new pod . I may have to make a "fake" map pod if it errors out . Then you need a SILVTN.TIF . This is what you see on the track choosing screen . Take a stock one and paste your new pic to it because it has an alpha with a white circle in the middle and black around it . If you don't do that , you will see the whole square outside the circle .

I then used the SKULL1.SC renamed to SILVTN1.SC (in the "SCRIPTS" folder) and SKULL1.MSN renamed too (in the "MISSION" folder , these also need the 1 in the name) . There is also a .loc in the mission folder Evo2 doesn't have . I tried making a new one but it kept crashing so I used the one that came with the game and it worked .

I think it has to be a mission track , but I know you have no problem with that . I think that's it , just rebuild the pod with podtool and try it . I then just rename the ones I'm not using .

I think I will try Widow's Peak next because it has scripts . Hope this helps !!

Oh yea , track name that you see is in that .loc file .

!~`1http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/mob_warrior/

Edited by - ~M.O.B~Warrior on Sep 12 2005 08:41:33 AM

Chachoze Yea I figured thats what you did but for a some reason I thought you may have found a convenient way around the absence of the pod.ini listing.

For a brief moment I almost believed that we were witnessing the second coming of Evo2...ROFL Too bad really since it would be nice to take advantage of the improvements Jeep Evo has over Evo2 such as mud, increased truck texture resolutions, improved script engine and a better winch to name a few.

By the way .locs are stored in the ENGTEXT.POD file and those include both mission and series relataed locs.

That stupid contest led me to write my "Jeep 4x4 Evo2 contest, an ode to stupidity." post. It has been archived since then so I cant pull it up but if I recall correctly it almost turned into a riot.

BTW you can still see the final leaderboard for the contest here
http://www.jeep.com/adventure/leaderboard/viewTop100.jsp?trailId=0

I know that at least the people that got the top four scores were DQ'ed from the contest and they didnt get any prizes and I am nearly 100% sure that none of those four cheated to get that high.

Anyway its all water under the bridge now.

[RCG] Max Air I think I recall people saying that the jeep demo could be played online with active winches. Is this or was this true?

If so, maybe there's something there we can play with.

!~`1What's crackin coconut?

~M.O.B~Warrior Not sure on that Max but that would be cool . We will have to test it . I've made more progress too . Here is the truck I'm running (notice the 44s too) . I plan on replacing all of them .

And using the right .msn and .loc files , I got the mission for the pipeline working just like it should (except the timer) .

!~`1http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/mob_warrior/

[RCG] Max Air wow warrior! I'm impressed!!

wonder what my new track will look and play like in that.

Another question, does this support the tree and vegetation modes?

!~`1What's crackin coconut?

Chachoze The mission timer is handles differently in Jeep Evo,before it was more of a global timer that started immediately when the track was loaded. Now it can be initiated by a script command which I think may have been implemented after the supposed cheating during the contest.

A triggerbox and this command should start the timer. missionTimer(1).

Everything thats supported in evo should work in here Max with the exception of races perhaps.

You can move thinngs with the winch in Jeep but not in Evo but not sure about the online component, I've heard it both ways.

~M.O.B~Warrior Thanx Chach , that worked , I got the timer working .

What's cool is after you have all your models in place in Tracked4 , then get the track running in Jeep Evo2 , you can go back in , lay out the trigger boxes , then just replace the .sit file and rebuild the pod .

Don't know about the online thing , but the winch is very strong .

We could make some killer climbs to get to the trigger boxes .

!~`1http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/mob_warrior/

ROCKFACE It's pretty funny how you guys thought that was a train wreck of a contest while Jeep thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. I can say this from being on the inside. The reason why you see TRI still cranking out mini games for Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler is because of how successful the whole Jeep Evo2 game competition was for Jeep. When the Rubicon was released at dealerships, Jeep discovered that 15% of all buyers were people who had registered and submitted scores for the competition.

15% is HUGE. I can't stress how big that is when you compare normal banner ads and the like have a 0.1% click through rate on average while this was a 96MB download that spanned months?! That number is what led them to being a panelist at E3 that year and other invitations to gaming conventions.

I mean, sure it sucked that some losers tried to cheat by not playing the game in a fair way but Jeep knew of the possibility that people would try to wreck things. I sure wasn't happy sitting there in a conference room actually demonstrating to my client how the cheaters did what they did.

In the end, Jeep and TRI really did try to sort out the cheaters from the rest and make it fair even though I'm sure some people here feel like they were mistakenly disqualified. TRI had "run times" of each track by their own staff (ie their best drivers) and made it clear that there was no way those times could be beat.

And I remember there was talk of a Mac version of the game but it wasn't released. Yes it's true there is a Mac version and I played it. I have to say that at the time the demo was ready, it wasn't optimized for the Mac, it was just ported. It would have been an insult to release it and claim it was on the same level as the PC version.

Anyways, Warrior, I'm really geeked about what you're working on. I wonder how the higher texture resolution is gonna affect whatever Max is working on. I would love to see what the mud ruts are going to be like in the revised RTMAC.

Yes winches worked online but there were still problems. You could not directly winch another players vehicle. You could "hook" your winch onto other players jeeps but could not move them. Anything you moved with your winch, like a log, would only move in your game, other players would see it in its orginal location unless they moved it themselves.

Just because it was good for Jeep doesnt negate the fact that the contest had serious problems.

Ya cheating was sooooo hard, you just had to drive around the starting checkpoint. Maybe just a bit of beta testing could have figured that one out.

Yep there is no possible way that someone else could be a better driver than "their best drivers". Maybe people found shortcuts that TRI didnt know about? I knew of several places where you could avoid some of the rougher sections to lower your time but still go through all the "checkpoints".

!~`1A painting in a museum hears more ridiculous opinions than anything else in the world.-Edmond de Concourt (1822 - 1896)

[RCG] Max Air So true, what's done is done. I think everybody would agree that the contest game engine was severly flawed for a legitimate contest. Besides, there's always going to be some kind of hacker chipping away at the game like warrior and chach.

Though this jeep expansion is very cool, it creates a dilema with my track design.

It creates a problem where I have to decide to build the challenges for either the regular game or the jeep demo. If I create challenges for the evo2 game, the jeep demo will have an overpowered winch that'll basically take out all the challenge.

!~`1What's crackin coconut?

~M.O.B~Warrior I found a place to host this file . I made a new topic for it so it can be found easier . You can dl it from this thread . It's a slow connection but it will stay there for free until it sits with no DLs for 30 days . Then it will be deleted by the site .

I've been checking out the scripts and will probably be doing a custom track for it . Right now I am about 80% done with a new TRUCK.POD . It wieghs in at a hefty 60.5 MB but will rar down to about 5.5 MB . here are some pics . No need to reply to the DL thread . We can just use this one for comments or questions .

Chachoze The demo uses the XD9000 winch which is on the high end of the winch scale but it didnt seem any more stronger that the XD9000 in Evo2. Keep in mind that small jeeps are used in the demo and therefore would liely have a much lower vehicle wieght than say a full sized truck, I imagine that would give it the appearance that it is stronger than it is.

It seems to me that the difference between making the same track for both engines would be neglegable other than a few minor technical differences Max. Perhap it would be an intersesting test for a truck maker to preload a vehicle with a much smaller winch and see if its supported by the demo, my guess is that it should work.

What I intersested in is if we can find away around the missing pod.ini and be able to mount multiple tracks. With the exception of mission pods Evo does not seem to support multiple sits in a single pod(think PodMate). I wonder if it could be possible to fool the demo into accepting muliple unigue world.sits into a single mission based pod and have them all show up in the track list at the same time as separate tracks rather than a linear type mission set...even though they would have to be mission based tracks like what Warrior is doing.

If it works then this could be our workaround to a pod list. Albeit not the most convenient it is something which would be better than nothing.

ROCKFACE As for the best drivers, sure, you're right. Someone else could have done it better than they did. All I did was write (repeat) what they told me and Jeep when the whole fiasco started. If you want to cry more about poor beta testing, please write TRI. Maybe you could get a job there as their lead tester? Then you'd only have yourself to blame for mistakes like that one. Woody, calm down. Warrior is right. Just leave it alone. I didn't write what I did hoping you'd go off on it again. I just thought it would be interesting for people here to know about how successful it was for Jeep, and in turn for gamers everywhere, not just here, because TRI is still being called on by Jeep to make more, albeit smaller, driving sims (for us to hack up and include in our Evo2).

~M.O.B~Warrior Please let that be the last comment about the the old hat , water under the bridge hassle . You guys go at it again and get my topic locked and I'm goin' on the warpath !! I have said please to both of you , but only one time .

Now , back to new business .

Chach , your the "Mission Man" . If you can't make that happen , no way I'll be able to . I always assumed that a script command would switch to the next .sit once you have completed one . Although that would be way cool !! Maybe if there is like an "unlock flag" , they could all be set to unlock . The only way I know how to even get 1 track in is to lie to it by using a stock track name . I could (and will) try the weaker winch if it can be done . The winch in the game will not give up at all . That's how I got it on top of the building .

Woody and Rockface , of course your comments are still welcome here if it concerns the new business at hand . I surely don't want to turn away any help . And don't call me Surely ...lol .

FordLord ya i tried downloading it again

!~`1"Nothing Shines.... Like A Ford"- R.A.M(aka FordLord)

~M.O.B~Warrior Fordlord , there are now 2 download links in that topic . Maybe try the other . One is bigger than the other because I stripped out some stuff that was advertisement . I know that one still works because I installed the game from it before I uploaded it . Maybe a firewall or something is corrupting it . JpJeep's was corrupt and redownloading it fixed it .

If that does not work I am at a loss and don't know what to tell you .

!~`1http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/mob_warrior/

[RCG] Max Air I've been having problems with corrupt files when either I download or upload from the desktop. Never had a problem if I move it into the c directory.

!~`1What's crackin coconut?

BashawBrothers Come to think of it, that's what happened to us, Max.

!~`1"When all else fails, look at the instruction manual." -G&B

[RCG] Max Air I finally played it after 3 or so years and I do like the physics, vehicle sounds, mud fx and looks like higher resolution vegetation.

The only problem I see is no mud fx for 4wl drive. Only rear wheel.

I also like that camp area where you zoom into the cabin. That'd be cool if I can modify that to serve rtmac purposes.

Looks like tri doesn't have a jeep demo server running

EDITI replaced the first picture with a mud fx vs shot. Using the jeep demo, I should be able to use both these fx in my track. I can probably have the jeep fx as a think mud and my rcgfx1 as a watery based mud.

~M.O.B~Warrior Max means that the tracks from Jeep Evo2 have been converted to Evo2 and are here for download .

And yes , you can get tracks in the demo . It's not a task for the faint of heart tho (yet) . I just got it working myself (and have some beta testers checking them and helping me) and I think that I am the first to get it to work (check me if I'm wrong) . Details at this point are sketchy at best so I won't go into them .

Give me some more test and experiment time and I plan an easy to use tut to get tracks made with Tracked4 into it .

Since I can't keep my fingers out of anything , I had custom trucks in the demo within days of it's release (others did too however) .

!~`1http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/mob_warrior/

BashawBrothers How do you add custom trucks to Jeep Evo2? (And is Tracked4 the Evo2 editor?)

!~`1"When all else fails, look at the instruction manual." - G&B

~M.O.B~Warrior Not now , you guys have my brain overloaded !! (tilt !! tilt!!) lol . I'll add that to the tut I do also .

And yes Tracked4 is Evo2's track editor .

!~`1http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/mob_warrior/

BashawBrothers Guess it sounds like we wanna figure out everything. Guess we're just curious.

~M.O.B~Warrior I have put together a "patch" that will convert OBSPARK.POD from the retail version of Evo2 into a fully working , 6 mission track for Jeep Evo2 .

All you need is Podview to extract the files , and Podtool to put it back together .

Tearing this pod apart and studying the contents (along with a good readme (included)) , should put you well on your way to converting other tracks . I have a few more I could do patches for if this works out .

You can downoad it here .

Let me know if it works and what you think . File is just under 1 MB .

BashawBrothers Cool!

!~`1"When all else fails, look at the instruction manual." - G&B

~M.O.B~Warrior I found some web space . Not enough to host the whole Jeep demo , but I have Tomb Raider : Trail of Life demo up there . It's almost the same game and you can add tracks to it too once I get the patch together .

You can download the demo here . It's the only thing there for now .

The Jeep Evo2 files are there now . Contains a readme file . You only need this file if you can't find Jeep Evo2 . If you already have it , you have all of these because that's where they came from . Just from 1 free game to another .

BashawBrothers Pretty fun, Warrior. Oops converted that track to Evo2 right?

!~`1"When all else fails, look at the instruction manual." - G&B

~M.O.B~Warrior Custom Camp .

Through a little bit of playing , I have found that the trick we used to get the Jeep Evo2 tracks into the editor years ago (deleting the "path" information) also works to get the CAMP.POD in the editor . To make a custom camp you need to make a copy of that info (paths) , delete it , edit the track , and paste it back into the .sit .

To do this , open the .sit with Wordpad , scroll down to "paths" , and make the line look like this .

#*** Paths ***
pathCount
0
*** Stadium ***

The number will be 20 when stock . Paste all of the stock info back between the "paths" and the "stadium" lines after editing and build a new pod with Podtool . With this , you can pretty much build any camp you want , from junkyard to forest . If you
move the trucks , Don't go into the Photoshow , it might not find it's way back out . The "fire" will be gone , too if you use the Tomb Raider camp to start .

!~`1http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/mob_warrior/

~M.O.B~Warrior The complete , untouched version of Jeep Evo2 is available now if you never had the game and still can't find it . The download is 74 MB . Any files that were not needed to run were removed . The Tomb Raider game is gone because it was 60 MB alone . Three pods from it are included in the download (RAIDER.POD , CAMP.POD , TRUCK.POD) . The extras are for conversion purposes only . Here is the link .

BashawBrothers In that first picture, Warrior, is that the Love Bug we see? Did you make that? Our little brother would just die for that!

!~`1"When all else fails, look at the instruction manual." - G&B

~M.O.B~Warrior Yep , that's herbie !!

The truck pod replaces 6 out of 8 trucks . The Rubicon and the Grand Cherokee were left in . It's maybe 85% finished and will be available when done (before you ask ) .

The model came from the 15,000 model web site and I made the texture and mapped it . The Chevelle in the background is just a track prop . All the other trucks are scratch built or TRI's .

!~`1http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/mob_warrior/

BashawBrothers We absolutley can't WAIT for that! (Guess you get the idea now )

!~`1"When all else fails, look at the instruction manual." - G&B

Chachoze So thats what you need to do to get them in the editor...
For the life of me i could never figure that out, would always get an editor crash or something.. Nice work Warrior.

Regarding the new camp, does the camera still move and shift from the trucklot to the shack and back to the post like it does with the stock camp? Is it path or course related or something else?

Jeez this could make for a pretty nifty track\author specific platform for someone wanting to create their own mission set. Would be heck of a nice way to showcase something new....

!~`1
---------
Chachoze

~M.O.B~Warrior Chach , the camera is on paths , but I can't edit those because of a different format from Tracked4 (hence the crash) . It still goes to where the cabin was but stops at the point where the first pic was . There is no "SCRIPTS" folder for the camp , so it must be hard coded in the .exe

There are 8 trigger boxes where the trucks go (named "truck1 - 8") and 7 trigger boxes for the camera (named "cam1 - 7") . Since I moved box 8 (the Willys , the Love Bug in the custom pod) , the camera gets lost on the way back from the "Picture Show" . It starts to head to where it was , gets caught in a loop , and then goes back in . I had to CTRL+ALT+DEL to get out of it . Only happens when you leave from the Willys (or Love Bug) . It still goes to the "signpost" just fine .

BTW , the new website has more sections open now . There is no content for the MTM section or the Flatout section yet so I killed the links . Each section opens in a new window , so just close that when done , and you will be back at the main menu where you left from .

Here is the link again .

[RCG] Max Air good work warrior!

!~`1FRIENDS are forever.

Chachoze Well after some tinkering and info from Warriors work on Jeep Evo, I found out how to manipulate paths for the camp. The path properties for each path set in Jeep Evo has 3 extra options that arent available in Evo2.

By simply removing the red colored items from the sit for each path set and leaving the rest of the path info in place it is possible to work with the paths in the editor. I even moved one of the vehicles to the side of the cabin and adjusted its corresponding camera path to suit and now the camera works properly when goin in and out of the cabin. There is no need to put the extra lines back into the sit when your done, Jeep Evo works just fine without them. So now creating your own camp pod should be quit easy.

Here are the differences in the path system.

--------Jeep Evo Paths--------
Path 1 of 20 ---------------------------
pointCount
26
type
1
direction
0
loopStart
0
loopEnd
0
stopLoopFlag
0

cycles
0
time
0
pauseTimeElapsed
0
t
0
tension
0
stopFlag
0
collisionType
0
object
33

Here are a few screenshots, sorry for the horrible jpeg compression, I'm trying to keep the files sizes manageable for dialup users.

Here is a shot of the entire camp from the editor.

A closeup of the camera paths

A closeup of my altered vehicle location and path.

And a shot of the the new location in game.

I thought this was kind of interesting. Its the model of the cabin and its various parts that are need to make the screenshot billboards work.

Strangly enough I noticed that what ever direction I pointed my truck box the vehicle always pointed in the same direction as the rest of the vehicles. I looked into the vehicle locations in the sit but couldnt come up with anything so keep that in mind if you plan to build your own camp.

& bejoe...
You guys are nOObs and telling people to e-mail you a 137MB file?
Ya, best of luck with that, I'm sure everyone here has nothing better to do than waste half a day e-mailing some nOObs a huge file.
Get with the program dudes, this is a self-service web site, not a Dominos pizza delivery service.

The game is posted here http://vales.com/programs/jpevo2.iso

It's a CD image (.iso) file.
You'll need a program like Dameon Tools to open the .iso as a virtual CD drive to install it.

Gibson thank you KC!!!

~M.O.B~Warrior Wow , haven't seen this topic in a while .

Chach , nice find bro . I tried it today and it worked great . You can even rebuild the pod right from the editor . BTW , Stuck Throttle came up with the paths that crashed it . We just deleted them and it worked . We never compared them .

K C , Thanx bro , I must have sent that thing out 4 or 5 times . I'm going to put a page up for the track conversions . Is it OK to link to this page ?

I looked through some of my old stuff . The readmes were pretty good . It of course assumes working knowledge of the file system , Tracked 4 (so you also can do nothing without the retail version of Evo2) and it's scripts .

Never mind, sorry, I'm really grumpy tonite, my ankles hurt so bad I don't know if I can even make it another week before I see the surgeon.
All I know is, the guy better have me fixed up in a hurry because it's been over a month to get in now, and even my tolerance for pain is long since past the "I can handle it" point.

Of course Warrior ;-}
Spending all day e-mailing huge files was above and beyond dude, and for people to even ask was... well, I think I made my point clear on that.
quote:
Are you paying for all the water skiing you did when you were younger?
Well, that probley played a part but certainly not the brunt of the damage I did in my youth and regreting now.

I have been telling you guys for years to protect your knees and anles because you'll really miss them when their gone.
That was back when mine just hurt.
Well, my ankels are so totally shot now I have a limp and I can't even golf and it sucks!

I did many foolish things in my youth CJ, roofing for starters was no plus, skiing and my dirt bikes played a major part, but so did all the other un-protected stupid stuff I did like trying to skateboard down Camelback Mountain, cliff diving without looking under the water first, trying to impress my friends with "watch how fast I can run downhill", years of jumping off roofs I worked on because it was faster than using the ladder, and the list goes on and on...

You young guys, I can't stress this enough...

Protect you knees and ankles!
You will really REALLY miss them when quit working!

Hi ya MOB & all you guys....
Downloaded the custom trucks and works great....
I made three small batch files to automate things up when I wanna play... the Jeep 4x4 Evo2 with the original Jeeps and MOB's custom ones.
Before executing the batch(es), make sure you rename TRUCK.POD to TRUCK.ORI for the original POD, TRUCK.MOB for MOB's custom trucks & I made my self all Willys MBs POD and named it TRUCK.WMB. All placed in the Jeep 4x4 Evo2 folder.

Here are the batches:
---------------------------
ORI.bat
---------
@Echo Off
if exist Original.ON goto PLAY

if exist Willys.ON ren TRUCK.POD TRUCK.WMB
if exist Willys.ON del Willys.ON

if exist MWarrior.ON ren TRUCK.POD TRUCK.MOB
if exist MWarrior.ON del MWarrior.ON

:Original.ON not exist
:ORI

if exist TRUCK.ORI ren TRUCK.ORI TRUCK.POD
if not exist TRUCK.POD goto NoPOD

echo ORIGINAL Truck Settings>Original.ON

goto PLAY

:NoPOD
Echo TRUCK.POD not exist
goto Quit

:PLAY
JEEP

:QUIT
---------------------------
MOB.bat
---------
@Echo Off
if exist MWarrior.ON goto PLAY

if exist Original.ON ren TRUCK.POD TRUCK.ORI
if exist Original.ON del Original.ON

if exist Willys.ON ren TRUCK.POD TRUCK.WMB
if exist Willys.ON del Willys.ON

:MWarrior.ON not exist
:MOB

if exist TRUCK.MOB ren TRUCK.MOB TRUCK.POD
if not exist TRUCK.POD goto NoPOD

echo M.O.B Warrior's Truck Settings>MWarrior.ON

goto PLAY

:NoPOD
Echo TRUCK.POD not exist
goto Quit

:PLAY
JEEP

:QUIT
---------------------------
WILLYS.bat
----------
@Echo Off
if exist Willys.ON goto PLAY

if exist Original.ON ren TRUCK.POD TRUCK.ORI
if exist Original.ON del Original.ON

if exist MWarrior.ON ren TRUCK.POD TRUCK.MOB
if exist MWarrior.ON del MWarrior.ON

:Willys.ON not exist
:Willys

if exist TRUCK.WMB ren TRUCK.WMB TRUCK.POD
if not exist TRUCK.POD goto NoPOD

echo Willys MB Truck Settings>Willys.ON

goto PLAY

:NoPOD
Echo TRUCK.POD not exist
goto Quit

:PLAY
JEEP

:QUIT
---------------------------

Made the shortcuts to the desktop and voila, if I wanna play with the Original POD, just click the ORI.bat, MOB.bat for MOB's custom trucks and Willys.bat to play all MBs trucks. Of course you can modify the batches accordingly if you wanna use you own PODs.

Thx MOB

KC Just a note about Jeep Evo...
I include it along with a go cart game and much more on the DVD -Pro Disc's I sell in the KC Store.
