Ever wanted to pause or resume file fransfers between HD's and /or coputers?
Here's a neat little utility that does just that.

Free version:
teracopy.zip

From the eula:
quote:
TeraCopy is a compact program designed to copy and move files at the maximum
possible speed, also providing you with a lot of features.

* Copy files faster. TeraCopy uses dynamically adjusted buffers to reduce
seek times. Asynchronous copy speeds up file transfer between two physical
hard drives.

* Pause and resume transfers. Pause copy process at any time to free up system
resources and continue with a single click.

* Error recovery. In case of copy error, TeraCopy will try several times and
in the worse case just skips the file, not terminating the entire transfer.

* Interactive file list. TeraCopy shows failed file transfers and lets you fix
the problem and recopy only problem files.

* Shell integration. TeraCopy can completely replace Explorer copy and move
functions, allowing you work with files as usual.

2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

- Windows XP/Vista

I actually just started using this a few days ago, and was going to recommend it here, but you beat me to it. this is a avery very nice program, very quick, integrates into the shell, all together very well put together. small problem, it doesnt copy files which you have no permissions to. While 95% of the time this is no problem, when you're taking data from an old drive to a new on a new OS it will not copy it, and not tell you that it didnt copy it. just make sure you take ownership before doing something like that.
