Well, my processor and MB kicked the bucket due to a power surge (I know, I should have a UPS), so I am about to get some upgrades....

I am just going to buy one stick of RAM for now and purchase the other 3 as money allows.

Rebuilt my system again a few months back so I changed the parts list. I am really happy with it so far. It will play anything I throw at it on high settings.

I realized I never listed all my hard drives.

I have 2 80gig drives from my older systems....just used for system image backups. After I install my OS, update it, and install all my work stuff, I do a duplicate image backup of my OS....I keep one on each drive for redundancy.

I have a 500 gb drive that serves as my OS drive and programs.

I also have a 1tb internal drive for data only.

...and finally a 1tb external drive that is used for data backups.

Previous benchmarks were done with PC Wizard 2010 and 2012. I saw KC's new PC topic and ran the PC Wizard 2008 version and scored a global score of 197563. If I unplugged the 2 8 year old 80 gb drives that I use for basic storage of some old unimportant pics and files, I would probably score higher.

PC wiz 2012 won't run on this machine, maybe because it's XP?
That evened up our scores some ;-}

I just realized what you were referring to. I now have a 4tb network drive that I use for backups and media streaming

(Actually an 8tb but it is in a RAID array)

No problems on my XP OS. KC.

Did you notice debug mode and the startup options in the pcwizzard settings. (..\PC Wizard 2012\Data\settings.exe)

It could quite possibly be disagreeing with one of your drivers. Have you updated everything?
