Sony has managed to produce the world's thinnest and most flexible OLED display to date. The new screen is 80#956;m thick - just a bit thinner than a human hair - and is so flexible, it can be rolled around a pencil while streaming video. The screen hasn't reached production quality yet as it suffers from visible horizontal and vertical line artifacts. The 4.1 inches prototype enjoys a static contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a resolution of 432 x 320.

I like where this is going. :P

That is amazing. Must be using Catalyst 10.3 or 10.4 to be still having black lines

If it's broke FIX it. If it's not broke, OVERCLOCK it. If OVERCLOCKING breaks it, get ready to buy a new one

TV on a sleeve.

I wonder how long before someone makes an entire cape or jacket of the stuff.

LoL Reminds me of those car rims (LED I think) that can show most anything when rolling down the road.

Shoot that sounds wicked.

Something coming straight at ya might be next to invisible with the front side that displayed what a simple rear view camera streamed.

Heck even if the camera just videoed your dust. Can you imagine a tank that looks like a dust devil. LoL

The applications for this are endless...clothes don't sound too bad, but if the advertisers get hold of it...watch out!

hopefully if the ad disaster happens they may implement no ads in certain areas or something like max # ads per Km or something.
