I have never purchased an Avon product in my life, nor do I want to.
How this overly zealous rep has a couple of my e-mail address and power slamming each one with giant multi-picture ads every day to buy from him is beyond me, but I have his personal e-mail address now and I want to get a message across until he gets me off his robot spam list.
Got a call from the gal doing it today. No doubt Avon gave it to her when I went up the food chain with Avon on the phone today.
Isn't that just special? A frigg'n phone call on top of the spam.
She sounded like a young Asian gal with not a great command of English yet.
Apparently Avon has a bunch of 'enhanced marketing tools' for their slaves to use to move their product. I guess one is to lets reps spam the world from their DB, and now it appears even my home phone number is in it.
Up the food chain we go. I want to know how this cooperation works and what info they keep. I'll bet the FCC would like to know too.
I went up to Avon Corp and got a real person. It is easy to get to a real person if they think you are trying to join.
When I started to ask about the address and names of those in charge of the rep spam ability Avon makes available for the Lawsuite and FCC filing for breach of the Federal Anti-Spam act I got tot he right person.
Even this person started out telling me how I could Opt Out and she got both barrels.
Then she wanted all my addresses. I gave her the 2 @cox.net and then told her EVERYTHING @vales.com and she was like "I need the full address" and I told her she better have someone go through their database and do it or it goes to the Fed's and they may just shut the whole darn thing down.
