Nice. And you cant beat that price. 8)

Is that a typo for the OS service pack 2?

LoL Your new PC's benchmark beats the score PCWizard 2012 just gave mine by 7,300 percent. (or 73 times higher)

That is a PC Wiz 2008 score, try yours with that, but she does scoot right along, it boots from a cold power off to windows before the old CRT tube on the bench warms up to display it ;-}

Ah, The PCW version must be the problem for the global cache results too.

Ya, If pressing a PC power button makes me wait longer than the one on my TV that PC is already to slow in my eye's.

I updated my above pics.

It feels like the old days here with some above average hardware sitting on the back corner of my huge desk just humming along to make my 2 old but really big CRT monitors work like shared desktop magic.

Since this is wasn't a complete 'clone' or 'start over' change and I have the luxury of having both machines side by side networked I took the time to see what I actually use the thing for and was a little surprised at my results.

I only have 4 things I can't do without and they have to be set exactly the way I want to use them.

1. MS Office: Outlook, FrontPage, Access and Word, especially Outlook.

I don't do web or cell phone mail, my domain host collects my incoming and Outlook goes and puts it on my PC and via Outlook Rules and Spam Bully's filters gets put in one of many different folders.

I starve or prosper by how well I can exchange data, pics, and links with customers and keep a log via my web page Contact forms, which brings us to FrontPage, I create/edit all my web pages and even Craigs List ads with it.

2. FireFox: I spend a great deal of time using the Internet as all of you do, especially in forums, and nothing I have tried beats FF's real time spell check and tab use ;-}

3. Paint Shop 4.3: Yep, the same old PSP I have been using for a decade and it still does exactly what I want, and all I had to do was copy a shortcut to the .exe to the new Start Bar.

4. FileZilla: FTP is crucial to my Internet world and I have FZ down pat now.

There are other programs like that spiffy little Convert until, Pandora desktop app, and my Attache Clock desktop thing and are in now, but just those 3 were crucial for to me using the new system now for normal operation.

One glaring thing missing is no Business Software!

I bought some business software and was trying to use it but it brought the old system to it's knees. With this new fast PC I can finally get some computer help with my Motorized Bicycle business!

The thing is, will I actually use it?
