I like my dual core :)

I don't see them have a 4 core laptop solution for a long while, and these processors are going to run in the *too expensive for me* category for months. Haha

Did you look at the test box pics?
I may change my background to the one of the open case that shows the dual vid cards and gigantic CPU fan.

I'm good for now with my dual core AMD, and next step will just be a drop in faster one and some DDR2 ram.

hmmmm....maybe next will be vid cards to do this...Nvidia was able to get 4 vid cards to work simultaneously (with Quad SLI)....8 vid cards would be sweeet.

8 vid cards? Pffff.
I'm sure the video card makers would love to sell 8, even 2 video cards to most users.
Most users just get one good though.
It's sure cheaper, and can you imagine the heat and noise from 8 vid cards?

you use liquid cooling...no fans= silent

the Alienware computers use Nvidia's Quad SLI Technology and have 4 vid cards in their computers, and they use liquid cooling....which results in a silent computer. The liquid cooling can also drop the temp of a computer by about 20 degrees compared to fans.

the only problem with liquid cooling is it costs approx. $250 for a complete unit.

They actually only use two Dual GPU video cards in them. E.G. the Geforce 7950.
