Convert

Free
File: http://vales.com/programs/convert.zip

This handy little util is just a single .exe file.
It will convert most any measure to another.

I find it quite handy for changing Temp and MPG vs MPL gas.
Just unzip the .exe to your desktop and it's always there.

Man I missed this program, I'm glad I posted this up long ago.
I am on a crappy laptop for the moment and needed to do a lot of conversions today.
Click, save to desktop, and run. That simple as it is just 1 tiny executable program.

Thanks for bumping this, KC. This is a super handy little program. I remember I had it back on the ole Dell

If it's broke FIX it. If it's not broke, OVERCLOCK it. If OVERCLOCKING breaks it, get ready to buy a new one

Yep, that's one of the most handy free utilities I've ever acquired.

Funny how something so simple can make such a big difference.
I always liked Convert for Temperature conversion, but since I started doing motorized bikes it seems I am always doing Fluid and Distance conversions like ounces to a gallon or miles in inches.

I've used it often enough that I put a link to it on my quick links bar for fast access...

I can't get over how much more I use this utility now that I am building motorized bikes, it seems like there is always some measure I need to convert to another.

For example I just had a custom 'beer keg' gas tank made for a bike and I needed to covert the cubic inch volume to gallons, and today it was to convert these motor power ratings.

Spiffy tool indeed ;-}

Same here.

I like that ones tabbed folders. But stuck with mine for the conversions and search feature.

I still use an image viewer program that is copyright 1996.

LViewPro for windows 95, windowsNT 3.51, or windows 3.1

Reality is for those that cant handle video games.

Come to think of it I still use a file viewing program called "List enhanced" by Burg utilities that I'm pretty sure I bought before Windows was born. (maybe 1988)

But what I was thinking is that KC's converter probably has a new and improved version out there.
Who knows it might even be as good as the Quad Lock Unit Converter I'm using now. 8)

Just kidding. The unit converter is basically the same type deal (freeware and only one file) only with many more conversions (1,000+) and a couple more features.

-- edit --
hehe 1/2 the reason I posted this screen grab is that Ghotery's click to play option replace social buttons cracks me up.

For conversions of units I have been using ConvertPad on my smart phone. Nice to have a program with me all the time and not just when I am at my computer
