That looks like it's going to be monster fast machine!
Good job.
I suggest a small (<120 GB) 10,000 RPM or better boot drive.
It makes the boot drive a snap to defrag, virus test, backup, etc.

I use a 76GB Raptor 10K RPM SATA boot, but you can go SCSI and get a 15K RPM
Comparisons here.
http://www.techreport.com/reviews/2003q2/10k-comparo/index.x?pg=1

In short, SCSI is the only thing faster (some go to 15K RPM now) but you'll pay out the nose for them. like $700 for a small drive and then you need the SCSI card.

Another main difference is 10K sata drives so far only have 150MB transfer rates, while SCSI does 320.
When sata 300 10K drives come out the decesion becomes a moot point.

Yeah, OCing is a bad idea without proper cooling.

Just a tip about posting things like your post above...

"Bought me some more stuff to go on this thing..."
and then a bunch of links with no info about what you bought is pretty useless bud.

Try using the {url="the link.com"}The part name and model or whatever{/url} format where the {} are [] like this...

"Bought me some more stuff to go on this thing...
A NZXT SENTRY 1 Controller Panel box that fits in a 5.25" case bay to control all my case fans.
a LOGISYS Computer CLK12BL2 12" DUAL COLD CATHODE KIT to add some more case lights."

Etc, etc, you get the point ;-}

No problem bud, it just makes things better for everyone else.
Spiffy new "bling" though hehehe.
I don't run a case myself, but I have made plently of custom and "bling filled" cases in my time ;-}
