Here are it's specs.

Widescreen 1440x900 resolution

Bottom Line: Great looking monitor and picture i reccomend you pick one up.

Whats the pixel rendring speed (refresh rate)?
4 to 6 is great, 15 or more sucks.

OK.. I had to laugh at this in the specs above...

"GatewayShield Theft Deterence"

Hahhaha, what? It comes with an old lady with a cane that stands around and protects the Gateway monitor?

Doesn't sound like a bad idea

quote:
The theft deterrent option, or "GatewayShield", is a way to deter theft of your monitor. If enabled, it displays a black and white screen with information that the monitor is protected by GatewayShield if the activated monitor has been disconnected from the original computer and connected to a different computer.

But I bet there is an easy way around it.

Reality is for those that cant handle video games.

The GatewayShield is on enabled if you install the software that comes with it. I didn;t install the software, it is a peice of crap and is a waste of time. But, even if you do have the software installed, you can turn it off.
