The Referrer Tag is simply the URL, or Full Web
Address, your browser sends to the vales.com server to identify what web page
linked you to the current page you are viewing on vales.com.
This is not checked on every page, but it is
used on some pages to stop hackers and bandwidth thieves from exploiting the already
generous nature of this site.
Some software firewalls like Norton and even Zone
Alarm tend to overprotect by blocking your browser from sending the Referrer
